Genetics and Nutrition:

How our Health Today Impacts for Generations

An Introduction to Epigenetics. Wednesday January 18, 7-9 pm.

This is a topic near and dear to me as it combines two of my favourite things: Nutrition and Genetics. I never the thought these two worlds would collide, but they have in a big way. Epigenetics is the study of genetics and how genes expression can change, without changing the original DNA sequence, yet have lasting changes for generations. How is this possible? Lets have fun talking science and how our field of nutrition can such a huge impact for many years to come.

This event is run through the Edmonton Holistic Nutrition Network.
