What is a Holistic Nutrition Consultant?

A holistic nutrition consultant is someone who has been trained in the area of Holistic Nutrition and specializes in working with you to help you get to the root of your health issues.


We focus on both food and lifestyle to find the right balance for you so that you can feel your best, taking into consideration your health history, food preferences, health goals, lifestyle habits, budget and more. 

Our goal is always helping you achieve holistic health with long term success.

What is the difference between a Holistic Nutrition Consultant and a Dietician?

While both professions offer improved health through diet, a Holistic Nutrition Consultant looks deeper towards the root cause of health issues and looks at ways to help the individual as a whole through dietary improvements, lifestyle habits and other obsticals that may be inhibiting better health. There is demand on the indivual to take responsibility for their own health.


A Registered Dietician typically follows the Canadian Food Pyramid and caloric requirements to help those with their health issues. The individual may the there by their own choice or by recommendation by a doctor. 

What can a Holistic Nutrition Consultant help with?

Your packages are at least 3 months, why?

Typically when a client comes to me, they are after long term and life changing health improvement. These changes do not come quickly or easily to most. I focus on a slow and steady move towards healthier habits that will become permanant fixtures, helping you reach your personal goals no matter what they are. 

Do you offer cooking classes?

Yes, I offer cooking classes as part of my packages or separately for those interested in learning healthier cooking methods. I use the JERF (Just Eat Real Food!!) philosophy for all of my cooking and feel all food should taste great and nourish your body. For more information, please contact me directly.

Do you work with kids?

Yes! It is so important to help kids as early as possible with any health conditions they have so they learn how to take care of their bodies.


I am also passionate about teaching kids about real food and nutrition. They need to know where our food comes from, how it helps our body be healthy, how to read nutrition labels and how to create simple dishes. I offer free workshops to schools for grades 1-12, and do simple home cooking workshops for small groups for a small fee. Please contact me directly for more information about either event.
